A Little Bit of Our History...
AT Cleaning was originally established solely as a window cleaning company. The Company was started in 2004 by Alan Thomas who began with only a handful of clients. Thanks to competitive prices and a high standard of work, the number of clients soon increased and after only one year Alan had taken on his first employee. The business has gone from strength to strength since then and we now employ a number of people; Window cleaners, canvassers and carpenters to name but a few.
After a number of requests from our clients to clear their gutters we began to see the value in offering this service to people outside our client list. Thus began the first step to providing our full range of guttering services. We added more and more services as we were able have our staff trained in each area work. In some cases we simply hired new staff, already qualified and experienced in the areas of expertise required. Such as our experienced carpenter (30 years experience) who is irreplaceable in providing our fascia renewal services.
While it may seem strange to some people that a window cleaning company provides roofline and guttering services, we find it enables us with a unique position with which to offer our clients an all round better service. How? A lot of other companies need to cover the cost of their employees income whether or not they have enough work to provide them with. Therefore, they must charge the customer more to cover the times when work is not available to them. This is not so for us thanks to the window cleaning section of our company. Also, because we provide more than just window cleaning, our regular window cleaning clients can enjoy the use of our other services, often at a reduced price and with the piece of mind that they know us well and can trust our standard of work.
Our company has been steadily growing ever since its small beginnings and continues to grow every day. We would like to thank our long standing clients - some of whom have been with us since the very start - for their continued support. We hope to find many more clients in the future and look forward to many more years of working for the friendly people of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
