Traditional Cleaning

This is a proven window cleaning technique that offers the best possible results. Unlike those using a waterfed brush system our cleaners are able to make a close inspection of all windows once finished. This reduces the risk of any marks being left by accident. To find out more on the benefits of this method over the waterfed brush system, for window cleaning, please take a look at our FAQ section.

How it works

Cleaners apply a mix of water and detergent to windows using specially designed applicators. A rubber squeegee is then used to remove all water and detergent. Sills are then wiped clean with a cloth to finish. Telescopic poles are used to extend a cleaners reach where ladder access to windows is restricted.

Cleaning by Hand

This method is used on georgian styled windows that are too small for squeegee work as well as leaded windows. Professional cleaning cloths are used to ensure the best results. PVC surfaces, such as frames and roofline whites, are also cleaned using this method.

How it works

Cleaners use a damp or wet cloth to rub down surfaces with detergent. A dry cloth is then used to buff the surface, leaving it free of any dirt or residue.

Waterfed Brush

This system is used for cleaning conservatory roofs and solar panels. In some cases it is also used on PVC wall cladding and other surfaces. This method provides a safe and effective cleaning solution where traditional cleaning is not possible.

How it works

Cleaners use a brush attached to a telescopic pole to clean glass or PVC surfaces. Water and detergent are fed to the brush continuously to help remove and rinse away dirt.

Your home

Home security is a major concern for many of our customers. We offer solutions for all the common problems in this area such as: prior notice the day before a clean, arrival timeslots, and easily identifiable cleaners

Our cleaners also respect your home and your belongings, taking care to avoid causing any damage. However, accidents can happen and so our cleaners carry full public liability insurance.

If you have any particular concerns we are always happy to keep a note on our files so that any cleaner visiting your home is aware of the issue.

You & your family

The safety of you and your family is of great importance to us. We make every effort to reduce any risks and always keep notes on specific areas of concern. We always follow our customer's instructions regarding the security of their home in full. Whether this means keeping access ways closed at all times or locking a gate when finished we make sure it gets done.

We also recognize the vulnerability of small children and pets that may be in gardens whilst cleaners are at work. Our cleaners are trained to be aware of the possible dangers and take steps to minimize risk. They can also be instructed to alert you before commencing a clean should you prefer to bring children/pets inside your home first.

Our cleaners

All our cleaners are fully trained for work at height and in the use of portable ladders. They are also assessed periodically to ensure they remain safe at all times.

Telescopic poles are used to extend a cleaner's reach where access to windows is too dangerous otherwise. It is not always possible to access every window safely even with this system. In such circumstances it is our policy to leave these windows. We will notify you if any such issues arise prior to carrying out any work.

Our cleaners are limited to a maximum working height of six meters. This conforms with HSE portable ladder use guidelines and is in place to ensure the safety of our cleaners. Some windows above this height can be cleaned by utilizing telescopic poles; this is offered on an individual basis only.

Who we are

We are a family run company with several cleaners working throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Our current office staff includes Alan, Kathy and George. They are always on hand to help with any requests and offer support to all our valued customers.

The majority of our cleaners work on set rounds, providing great cleaning for their regular customers. We also have a relief cleaner who helps out the other cleaners when they fall behind on their rounds. This arrangement ensures our customers receive a friendly, reliable service all year round.

A little history

The company was established by Alan Thomas in 2005. Having already worked as a window cleaner for some time he used the experience gained to set up his own round. Building on a reputation for quality cleaning and reliability Alan has grown his small round into a thriving family business. Many of the original customers Alan first took on still use our services to this day, a testament to the quality of service we continue to provide.

We continue to develop as a company even to this day, striving to improve our services and the support we give our customers. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our services such as diverse payment options, advanced booking tools and direct feedback facilities.

Payments Scheduling Cleaning Cleaners General

Why is my clean overdue?

This could be due to any one of a number of reasons. The three most common causes of delay are poor weather, cleaner illness, and arrears for multiple cleans on your acount.

If you are concerned, you can contact us for an estimate of when to expect your next clean. We can also add you to our high priority list.

My neighbour is notified the day prior to each clean but I am not. Why is this?

We only contact customers prior to each clean when notification is required for arranging access or where the customer has special requirements. It is not possible to offer this facility to all our customers.

Can I book an extra clean?

Yes. Just let us know when you would like a clean. We can even book a spedific day/time.

Can I postpone my next clean?

Yes. We are happy to postpone your next clean should this be required.

However, if the postponement is for a prolonged period or you are having building work carried out during the interim you may be charged extra for the next clean. This is at the discretion of the cleaner who will notify you of the amount prior to commencing the clean. View our fair work policy.

Do I need to let you know if I am going away?

If you are happy for us to continue your service while you are away then you do not need to let us know. However, if you wish to postpone your service then you should let us know at least 48 hours prior to leaving.

If we normally contact you prior to each clean you should call to postpone your service. Failing to do so may cause inconvenience to your cleaner and could affect your service in future.
